AOAC INTERNATIONAL is a globally recognized, independent, not-for-profit association founded in 1884. To attain its vision of “worldwide confidence in analytical results,” AOAC serves communities of the analytical sciences by providing the tools and processes necessary to develop voluntary consensus standards or technical standards through stakeholder consensus and working groups in which the fit-for-purpose and method performance criteria are established and fully documented.

The Association of Greek Chemists is the chemical society of Greek Chemists. It was founded in 1932, is a legal authority under the supervision of the Ministry of Development , and is, according to its constitutional law, an official advisor to the state on Chemistry matters. Its aim is to promote the science of Chemistry in industry, education and research within the country and abroad, and thus contribute to the economic, social and cultural development of Greece. Also, its goal is to promote the chemical profession in the country, protect the benefits and the professional rights of chemists, and contribute to the collaboration and solidarity among its members. The Association of Greek Chemists has approximately 8000 registered members who are all University graduates and is the only scientific organization that is representing legally the Greek Chemists in state committees in the country and abroad.

The vision of the British Ecological Society (BES) is to advance ecology and make it count. The BES’s many activities include the publication of a range of scientific literature, including five internationally renowned journals, the organisation and sponsorship of a wide variety of meetings, the funding of numerous grant schemes, education work and policy work. The Society also runs supporting initiatives such as the gratis book scheme which aims to make ecology publications available to those who couldn't otherwise obtain them. The Canadian Mineral Analysts Association (CMA) was formed in Noranda, Quebec in October 1969 with the following objectives: Maintain close liaison between the laboratories of the Canadian Mining Industry; Assist in developing and sharing methods for analysis of all elements; Assist in developing and sharing methods of sample preparation, work flow, etc; Compile methods manuals for distribution to members (two methods manuals and a quality assurance manual have been published to date); Hold annual meetings for the presentation of papers on practical applications of analytical methods and the exhibition of new instrumentation and new products available to the industry by their manufacturers; Provide scholarships to students in mineral sciences and chemical technology courses at colleges across Canada.
